TGA Power Pack £695.00The TGA Series 4 Powerpackhas undergone a major update to take advantage of new technology.Externally the compact motor and gearbox unit has been re-designed,although the ultra reliable internals remain the same. TGA havere-designed the chassis and battery bag, with matching lifting strap,added attractive alloy wheels and super grip tyres hardly anythinghas gone unchanged. They have even included electronic traction controlto ensure a smooth start without wheelspin.The most significant change of all is the electronic control system .This uses the very latest in micro-processor technology with a host ofadvanced safety features. The ergonomically designed handlebar controlis a direct replacement for the standard wheelchair handlebar grips andthe easy-to-use controls feature very important handlebar extensionsand optional left or right hand use. The key which operates the on/off switch is removable for safetyand security. There is an on/off light with red, amber, green coloursequence advising battery condition, a pre-set speed control governingtop speed and a thumb-operated speed control lever. Alternatively thelever can be used in conjunction with the pre-set control to providesimple press button operation. The range has been expanded to includethree models. The standard single wheel version capable oftransporting up to 18 stone user weight. The twin-wheel model with the same user weight limit but muchgreater traction really effective on loose gravel and wet grass. Theheavy duty version is only available with twin wheels and is capable oftransporting up to 26 stone. All of the fittings have been improved for greater ease of use and the Powerpack attaches to any wheelchair in literally seconds .Once fitted you will never need to push the chair again. Simply walkbehind with your thumb on the control and let the Powerpack do all thework for you.
